Description

The Power to Kids eLearning suite is an essential professional learning series designed to equip professionals working with children and young people with the knowledge and confidence to normalise and engage children in preventative conversations around sexual safety.
 

These eLearns are designed for professionals working with or caring for children and young people including educators, health and social service professionals, youth workers, child and family services workers, community workers, sports coaches, mental health professionals, residential care workers, and others who play a role in supporting young people’s safety and wellbeing.

The eLearning series is online, self-paced, and accessible Australia-wide. Participants will gain access to engaging content that supports prevention education and early intervention.

Please note these eLearns are specifically aimed at adults who work with or care for children and are not developed to be a suitable learning tool for children. Viewer discretion is advised relating to strong content themes and references. 


Any professionals who wish to trial the suite can sign up for complimentary access to the introductory module, and early bird pricing is available on the suite of modules to purchase until 11 July 2025.

Outcome

Participants will:

  • Build awareness of the prevalence of child sexual abuse and the importance of prevention education for children

  • Deepen understanding across a wide range of sexual safety topics and how they can influence attitudes and behaviours in children and young people
