Online self-paced learning for professionals who work with children and young people

The Power to Kids eLearning suite is a flexible, online professional development series designed to build the knowledge and confidence of professionals working with children and young people on key sexual safety topics.

Increased knowledge across sexual safety topics builds awareness of the broader social contexts and influences that inform attitudes and behaviours in children and young people. Through increased awareness and confidence, professionals can better engage children in preventative conversations and strengthen their responses to child sexual abuse.

1 in 4 children experience child sexual abuse in Australia. Professionals play a vital role in promoting child safety and wellbeing. The eLearn suite:

What is Power to Kids?


Power to Kids is a multi-disciplinary whole-of-organisation program developed in partnership with the University of Melbourne and MacKillop Family Services to strengthen prevention and responses to child sexual abuse. It has been successfully delivered across the country to over 3,500 professionals and implemented in over 50 organisations. The program has specialised training and implementation options for residential care providers and schools.

The eLearn suite is one component of the Power to Kids and Power to Kids in Schools programs and is now available to broader sectors as we continue to increase our reach and impact.
